JJ’s Chicken Tacos in the Slow Cooker

I think I will post a recipe every Friday.

This is one of our family's favorite chicken recipes. For those of you that hate mushrooms, I do to and you do not taste the mushroom soup in this recipe at all.

JJ’s Chicken Tacos in the Slow Cooker
4 chicken breasts
1 pckg. taco seasoning
1 can cream of mushroom soup (fat free)
1 c. salsa
1 can black beans (optional)
1/2 c. light sour cream

Place chicken in crock pot, sprinkle w/taco seasoning. Add soup & salsa on top. (I put the beans in last...) Cook on low for 6-8 hours (or I cooked it on high for 4 and it worked fine...) Stir in sour cream just before serving.


I usually serve it just on flour tortillas w/a little Mexican shredded cheese blend. I add salsa to mine.
